Proclamation No. 48

RESERVING FOR SCHOOL PURPOSES TWO PARCELS OF LAND IN THE BARRIO OF BATO-BATO, MUNICIPAL DISTRICT OF BALIMBING, PROVINCE OF SULU, ISLAND OF TAWI-TAWI.

Upon the recommendation of the Secretary of Agriculture and Commerce and pursuant to the provisions of section eighty-one of Act Numbered Twenty-eight hundred and seventy-four, as amended, I hereby withdraw from sale or settlement and reserve for school purposes, under the administration of the Director of Education, subject to private rights, if any there be, the following-described parcels of the public domain, situated in the Barrio of Bato-bato, Municipal District of Balimbing, Province of Sulu, Island of Tawi-Tawi, and more particularly described in Bureau of Lands plan Pr-214, to wit:

Lot No. 1.—Beginning at a point marked 1 on Bureau of Lands plan Pr-214, S. 35ْ 07’ W. 7,054 m. from B. L. L. M. No. 2, municipal district of Balimbing, thence N. 88ْ 11’ W. 24.71 m. to point 2; N. 6ْ 05’ E. 25.09 m. to point 3; S. 88ْ 10’ E. 23.06 m. to point 4; S. 2ْ 19’ W. 25.01 m. to point 1, point of beginning.

Containing an area of 598 square meters.

Bounded on the north, by a street; on the east, by lot No. 1; on the south, by lot No. 4 of plan Ts-66; and on the west, by lot No. 7 of plan Ts-66.

Bearings true. Declination, 2ْ 15’ E.

Points referred to are marked on Bureau of Lands plan Pr-214.

Surveyed, September 13, 1930.

NOTE.—Lot No. 1 = Lot No. 5 of Bato-bato townsite, Ts-66.

Lot No. 2 = Lot No. 6 of Bato-bato townsite, Ts-66.

All corners are P. L. S. concrete monuments, 15 by 60 centimeters.
