Proclamation No. 33

RESERVING FOR FOREST STATION SITE TO BE KNOWN AS PORT LAMON FOREST STATION SITE, A PARCEL OF LAND LOCATED IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF HINATUAN, PROVINCE OF SURIGAO, ISLAND OF MINDANAO.

Upon the recommendation of the Secretary of Agriculture and Commerce, and pursuant to the provisions of section eighty-one of Act Numbered Twenty-eight hundred and seventy-four, as amended, I, Manuel L. Quezon, President of the Philippines, hereby reserve for forest station site purposes, under the administration of the Bureau of Forestry, subject to private rights, if any there be, and to any and all rights and privileges of exploration, occupation, purchase, or otherwise granted or reserve to citizens by provisions of the Act of Congress of July first, nineteen hundred and two, known as the Philippine Bill.

I, therefore, withdraw from sale, settlement, or other disposition, except as permitted or provided for in the aforesaid Act of Congress of July first, nineteen hundred and two, and hereby declare and proclaim to be the Port Lamon Forest Station Site that portion of the public domain, situated in the Municipality of Hinatuan, Province of Surigao, Island of Mindanao, and described in the Bureau of Forestry map No. F. R.-58, to wit:

Beginning at a point marked 1 on Bureau of Forestry map No. F. R.-58, a small tree, 10 cm. in diameter, identical to corner 12, block I, Surigao L. C. project No. 8-A, which is N. 24ْ E., about 12,280 meters from the poblacion of Hinatuan, Surigao; thence S. 6ْ E., 52 meters to point 2, a hub, identical to corner 24, block I, Surigao L. C. project No. 8-A; thence N. 87ْ W., 35 meters to point 3, a hub, identical to corner 23, block I, Surigao L. C. project No. 8-a; thence N. 76ْ W., 56.7 meters to point 5, a toog tree, 50 cm. in diameter, identical to corner 21, Block I, Surigao L. C. project No. 8-A; thence N. 59ْ W., 70 meters to point 6, a toog tree, 70 cm. in diameter, identical to corner 20, block I, Surigao L. C. project No. 8-A; thence N. 35ْ W., 56.7 meters to point 7, a toog tree, 65 cm. in diameter, identical to corner 19, block I, Surigao L. C. project No. 8-A; thence N. 74ْ W., 55.2 meters to point 8, a toog tree, 80 cm. in diameter, identical to corner 18, block I, Surigao L. C. project No. 8-A; thence N. 79ْ W., 126.9 meters to point 9, a white lauan tree, 60 cm. in diameter, identical to corner 17, block I, Surigao L. C. project No. 8-A; thence S. 84ْ W., 50.6 meters to point 10, a white lauan tree, 60 cm. in diameter, identical to corner 16, block I, Surigao L. C. project No. 8-A; thence N. 61ْ E., 213.8 meters to point 11, a white lauan tree, 122 cm. in diameter, identical to corner 15, block I, Surigao L. C. project No. 8-A; thence S. 66ْ E., 135.4 meters to point 12, an antipolo tree, 46 cm. in diameter, identical to corner 14, block I, Surigao L. C. project No. 8-A; thence S. 39ْ E., 102.5 meters to point 13, a toog tree, 60 cm. in diameter, identical to corner 13, block I, Surigao L. C. project No. 8-A; thence S. 67ْ E., 52.5 meters to point 1, the point of beginning.

Containing an area of approximately 3.2 hectares.

In witness whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Commonwealth of the Philippines to be affixed.
