Proclamation No. 31

RESERVING FOR CEMETERY PURPOSES A PARCEL OF LAND IN THE BARRIO OF PEÑAPLATA, MUNICIPALITY OF SAMAL, PROVINCE OF DAVAO, ISLAND OF SAMAL.

Upon the recommendation of the Secretary of Agriculture and Commerce and pursuant to the provisions of section eighty-one of Act Numbered Twenty-eight hundred and seventy-four, as amended, I hereby withdraw from sale or settlement and reserve for cemetery purposes, under the administration of the Director of Health, subject to private rights, if any there be, the following-described parcel of the public domain situated in the Barrio of Peñaplata, Municipality of Samal, Province of Davao, Island of Samal, and particularly described in Bureau of Lands plan Mr-299, to wit:

Beginning at a point marked 1 on Bureau of Lands plan Mr-299, N. 56ْ 02’ 467.84 m., more or less, from B. L. B. M. No. 1, barrio of Peñaplata, municipality of Samal, thence A. 27ْ 25 W. 104.68 m. to point 2; N. 68ْ 23 W. 90.23 m. to point 3; N. 33ْ 34 E. 120.26 m. to point 4; S. 58ْ 17 E. 77.09 m. point 1, point of beginning.

Containing an area of 9,331 square meters.

Bounded on the northeast and southeast, by property of the municipal government of Samal (II-10151); on the southwest, by Gulf of Davao (salvage zone); and on the northwest, by property of Fokumatsu Kimura (Japanese).

Bearings true. Declination, 2ْ 26 E.

Points referred to are marked on Bureau of Lands plan Mr-299.

Surveyed, February 19, 1935. Approved, September 3, 1935.

NOTE.—All corners are old P. L. S./ B. L. concrete monuments, 15 by 15 by 60 cms.

This is identical with lot No. 3, II-10190, as surveyed for the Roman Catholics Church.
