GASGONIA, Presidential Assistant for Poverty Alleviation, NGO and PO, as the presidential assistant in-charge of all matters concerning the indigenous peoples and the urban poor. She shall coordinate and act on all matters pertinent to the indigenous peoples sector, including the implementation of Republic Act No. 8371, otherwise known as “The Indigenous Peoples Rights Act of 1997”, as well as appointments to the National Commission on Indigenous Peoples in accordance therewith.1aшphi1 This ORDER takes effect immediately.
