[ Memorandum Order No. 76, January 7, 1993 ]

DIRECTING ALL OFFICIALS, AGENCIES AND INSTRUMENTALITIES OF NATIONAL AND LOCAL GOVERNMENT TO SUPPORT AND ASSIST THE NATIONAL UNIFICATION COMMISSION IN THE PERFORMANCE OF ITS MANDATED TASKS

In view of the importance and urgency of the efforts of the National Unification Commission (NUC) to reach out to various sectors and groups all over the country in line with its task of formulating a comprehensive national program for peace, all officials, agencies and instrumentalities of national and local government are hereby directed to extend all support and assistance necessary to the NUC for the performance of its tasks.

Assistance shall include, but shall not be limited to,

1. Production and distribution of NUC information materials;

2. Facilitation of communications, particularly with more isolated areas of the country, by giving the NUC access to existing communication (e.g. radio) facilities; and

3. Provision of whatever assistance possible (manpower, logistics, equipment, venue, communication facilities, etc.) to the NUC’s designated Regional and Provincial Convernors and Secretariats for the Public Consultation process.

All heads of executive departments and line agencies are further instructed to issue the appropriate department orders to implement this Memorandum Order and ensure dissemination to all their national and local offices.ℒαwρhi৷

This Memorandum Order shall take effect immediately.
