SUBJECT	CONTRIBUTIONS FOR MT. PINATUBO VICTIMS
DATE	September 8, 1992

The different departments, offices and agencies, including government-owned and controlled corporations, are encouraged to launch fund-raising activities starting today for the benefit of our countrymen who continue to suffer the effects of the eruption of Mt. Pinatubo. Drop off centers shall be provided in their offices for voluntary contributions as well as donation in kind.

All cash contributions as well as donations in kind shall be turned over to the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) for eventual distribution to the affected communities in Central Luzon.1aшphi1 Donations in kind may also be distributed directly to the affected communities by the respective departments and agencies provided it is coordinated with the DSWD or the National Disaster Coordinating Council.
