EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 445 January 10, 1991

INCREASING THE PRICE CEILINGS FOR CERTAIN PRIME AND ESSENTIAL COMMODITIES IN THE NATIONAL CAPITAL REGION UNDER EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 423, AS AMENDED SERIES OF 1990

Pursuant to the powers vested in me by law, I, CORAZON, C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, do hereby order:

Sec. 1. Section 2(2), (3), (4), (6) and (7) of Executive Order No. 423, Series of 1990, is hereby amended to read as follows:

"Sec. 2. The prime commodities and their respective price ceilings are hereby set as follows:

Commodity Price ceiling

2. MILK

Sweetened Filled (300 ml) P16.35/can

Evap Filled (370 ml) 13.30/can

Powdered Filled (180 g) P17.60

Powdered Filled (200 g) 19.60

3. Sugar

Refined (Inclusive of 10% VAT) P17.60/kg

Brown (VAT exempt) 13.10/kg

4. Pork Liempo with Skin P62.00/kg

6. Chicken (Fully Dressed) P59.00/kg

7. Cooking Oil

(Single Refined, contents only)

Lapad (354 g) P5.20

Long Neck (708 g) 10.40

Sec. 2. The price ceilings of other commodities provided in Executive Order No. 423 and 440, Series of 1990, as well as the price ceilings provided above shall remain in full force and effect until revoked.

Sec. 3. This Executive Order shall take effect immediately upon publication in a national newspaper of general circulation and shall remain in effect until revoked.
