EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 385 December 19, 1989

EXPANDING AND DELINEATING THE BATANGAS PORT ZONE AND PLACING THE SAME UNDER THE ADMINISTRATIVE JURISDICTION OF THE PHILIPPINE PORTS AUTHORITY

I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by the law, do hereby order:

Sec. 1. The territorial jurisdiction of the Port of Batangas is hereby expanded and delineated as follows:

Beginning at a point marked 1 on the plan located at the northeast corner of Sta. Clara Elementary School, Batangas City;

Thence to point 2 at a distance of 115 m with bearing N 30_17, 15.6" W;

Thence to point 3 at a distance of 395 m with bearing N 59_ 42' 44.4" E;

Thence to point 4 at a distance of 1,000 m with bearing N 30_17' 15.6" W;

Thence to point 5 at a distance 575 m with bearing S 61_22' 24.3" W;

Thence to point 6 at a distance 969.61 m with bearing N 62_ 0' 25.11" W;

Thence to point 7 at a distance of 610 m with bearing S 61_ 22' 24.3" W;

Thence to point 8 at a distance 2,736.44 m with bearing S 30_ 17' 0" E;

Thence to point 9 at a distance 1,075 m with bearing N 61_ 22' 24.3 E;

Thence to point 10 at a distance 500 m with bearing N 30_ 17' 0" W;

Thence back to point 1, the point of beginning at a distance 225 m with bearing N 61_ 22' 24.3" E, all in all, comprising a total area of 3,488,420.4 square meters or 348.84 hectares, more or less.

Sec. 2. The Batangas Port Zone as expanded and delineated is hereby placed under the administrative jurisdiction of the Philippine Ports Authority which shall, consistent with law and the regional industrial plane of the Government, implement a program for the proper zoning, planning, development and utilization of the port areas in the said Port Zone.

Sec. 3. All orders and issuances, rules and regulations or parts thereof which are inconsistent with this Executive Order are hereby revoked or modified accordingly. lawphi1.net

Sec. 4. This Executive Order shall take effect immediately.
