EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 20 June 19, 1986
PLACING THE OFFICES, AGENCIES AND CORPORATIONS ATTACHED TO THE MINISTRY OF ENERGY UNDER THE ADMINISTRATIVE SUPERVISION OF THE OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT.
WHEREAS, there in a need to place all the offices, agencies and corporations attached to the Ministry of Energy under the administrative supervision of one office in the meantime that the Presidential Commission on Government Reorganization is still studying the over-all structure of the government.
WHEREAS, the President of the Philippines is the Chief Executive of the government and as such the Office of the President exercises administrative supervision and control over all the various ministries.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, CORAZON, C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by the fundamental law of the land, do hereby order:
Sec. 1. All the offices, agencies as well as corporations attached to the Ministry of Energy are hereby placed under the administrative supervision of the Office of the President until such time when a determination shall have been made.
Sec. 2. This Executive Order shall take effect immediately.
Done in the City of Manila, this 19th day of June, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and eighty-six.
