EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 1006 January 1, 1985

AMENDING SECTION 1 OF EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 993 INCREASING THE DAILY SUBSISTANCE ALLOWANCE OF UNIFORMED MEMBERS OF INTEGRATED NATIONAL POLICE TO TWELVE PESOS (P12.00) PER DAY

WHEREAS, Executive Order No. 993 dated October 18, 1984 increased the daily subsistence allowance provided in Letter of Implementation No. 133 for uniformed members of the Integrated National Police from eight pesos (P8.00) to twelve pesos (P12.00) to meet basic requirements;

WHEREAS, the President is authorized under Letter of Implementation No. 98 dated September 10, 1979, to approve any change in the basic salary and longevity pay schedule, quarters allowance, subsistence allowance and clothing allowance of the uniformed members of the Integrated National police on recommendation by the Minister of National Defense and the Minister of the Budget;

WHEREAS, the daily subsistence allowance of twelve pesos (P12.00) provided in Section 1, Executive Order No. 993 was authorized to uniformed members of the Integrated National Police from August 1 up to December 31, 1984 in the meantime;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Republic of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby direct, order and instruct;

Sec. 1. The daily subsistence allowance of twelve pesos (P12.00) for uniformed members of the Integrated National Police provided in Section 1, Executive Order No. 993 is hereby amended to read as follows:

"Sec. 1. The daily subsistence allowance provided in Letter of Implementation No. 133 for uniformed members of the Integrated National Police is hereby increased from eight pesos (P8.00) to twelve pesos (P12.00)."

Sec. 2. This order shall take effect January 1, 1985.
