[ EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 213, December 03, 1965 ]

CREATING THE MUNICIPALITY OF BACLARAN IN IN THE PROVINCE OF RIZAL

Pursuant to the provisions of Section 68 of the Revised Administrative Code, there is hereby created in the province of Rizal a municipality to be known as Baclaran to consist of the barrios of Baclaran and Tambo of the municipality of Parañaque, said province, with the seat of government at the barrio of Baclaran.

The boundary that shall separate the municipality of Baclaran from the municipality of Parañaque shall be as follows:

“Beginning at a point marked “1” on the attached topographic plan, being S. 86 deg. 10' E.; 265.00 m. to point 2; thence S. 51 deg. 41' E; 1,110.00 m. to point 3; thence S. 67 deg 25' E,; 2,400.00 m. to point 4; thence S. 29 deg. 55' E.; 885.00 m. to point 5; thence S. 18 deg. 35' E.; 910.00 m. to point 6; thence S. 75 deg. 45' E.; 2,070.00 m. to point 7.” (From the technical description prepared and submitted by the Office of the Highway District Engineer of Rizal based on the map of the municipality of Parañaque, Scale 1:10,000, on file in this Office.)

The municipality of Parañaque shall have its present territory minus the portion thereof which are included in the territory of the municipality of Baclaran.

The creation of this municipality as proposed in House Bill No. 8646 was approved by the House of Representatives.

The municipality of Baclaran shall begin to exist upon the appointment and qualification of the Mayor, Vice-Mayor and a majority of the councilors thereof.
